Our purpose is to manufacturing safe cannabis products. Our goal is to replace the negative social stigma associated with cannabis, with an all-natural, bio-nutraceutical approach. Because of this we use carbon dioxide to extract the active chemicals in the cannabis plant.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule extraction tech’s and material for extraction
- Schedule and perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of all equipment.
- Schedule and maintain testing for research and development as well as state compliance
- Order necessary machine parts and upgrade equipment when necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform some administrative tasks, such as documenting all machine maintenance, making equipment orders, and improving or developing safety guidelines for equipment use.
- Optimize current extraction systems
- Research and/or investigate ideas to improve processes and recommended action necessary to modify existing operations to increase production, reduce costs and conserve energy.
- Develop and/or update Standard Operating Procedures in the established format for identified units within the plant to ensure they are consistent with regulatory standards and Company policies.
Requirements:
- 0-3 years of experience with Supercritical Fluid Extraction in a Lab that adheres to strict health and safety policies and procedures, preferably a regulated field producing cannabis-infused, pharmaceutical or nutraceutical products
- Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret analytical data
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft operating platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to read and use schematics related to manufacturing equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write reports, draft policies and procedures, develop presentations and conduct training sessions.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to be flexible.
- Self-motivated, strong analytical skills and detail-oriented.
- Capable to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines for workplace safety and hazardous chemicals.
- Compliance and understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Processes (CGMP) guidelines.
Education:
- Bachelor's (Required) in chemical engineering, biochemistry or related field
