Laboratory Analyst 2nd shift

We are a rapidly growing startup analytical laboratory located about 25 miles south of Olympia Wa. We analyze food, agricultural, & environmental samples. We are also state certified for microbiological and chemical analysis of Recreational Cannabis.(I-502)

The hours for this shift are 3pm to 11:30 pm M-F

The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work some weekends.

Requirements: Candidate will be responsible for sample preparation, chemical analyses, data analysis, and related laboratory duties. Candidates should have knowledge of analytical instrumentation(GC, HPLC, UV/VIS), organic chemistry, and wet bench chemistry.

• BS/BA degree in chemistry, microbiology, environmental science, physics, or a related field

• very high level of organization and attention to detail

• must show ability to work in groups and be a team player

• excellent verbal and written communication skills

• ability to multi-task and stay on top of many projects at the same time

• show demonstrated ability to successfully follow SOPs

• ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of success

• ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for periods of up to 10 hours
