Lab Technician – Mayflower Medicinals, Inc.

We have invested in a fully integrated 36,000sf state of the art cultivation/extraction facility to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and quality of our products. In addition, we will soon be opening one of only 3 licensed dispensaries in Boston.

The Lab Technician will report to the Extraction Manager and is responsible for executing on and maintaining all daily operations of the extraction lab. Must be available for flexible work hours.

Responsibilities:

• Create raw Supercritical CO2 (SCCO2) concentrate
• Create distilled, high purity concentrate for use in MIPs products and vaporizer cartridges
• Execute on the preparation and production of extracted products
• Preparation of all materials for extraction including decarboxylation and calibration and audit of all equipment before use
• Monitor, use, clean and maintain all extraction equipment in accordance with MMI policies and procedures
• Ensure sanitary standards meet or exceed state regulations
• Implement a culture of safety and attention to detail

Requirements:

• Experience in retail, hospitality or patient services, preferred
• Knowledge of sanitary requirements for producing food-grade products
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word or Excel to document activities and track inventory/ materials/products
• Continuing education on market trends/products
• Able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and sit, stand, kneel and bend throughout the workday
• Must be a minimum of 21 years old

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent
