Mac & Fulton Talent Partners are looking for a Laboratory Scientist to work at rapidly expanding cannabis testing facility in Los Angeles, CA.
Requirements:
- Help streamline cannabis testing production under guidance of Lab Manager
- Follow company testing SOP's
- Stay abreast of CA State lab testing guidelines
- Maintain inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment, plus preparing requisitions as needed
- Work with testing laboratory as defined by state guidelines
- Offer creative solutions to current problems
- Creation & Update laboratory technical procedures (analytical methods)
- Monitoring of maintenance of analytical instrumentation
- Provide Opinions and Interpretations when necessary regarding the quality and meaning of analytical data contained within analytical reports provided to customers.
- Train other employees and management on scientific concepts behind extraction techniques
Qualifications
- BA in Chemistry, Sciences, or like field
- 1.5 years cannabis laboratory testing experience
