Lab Manager - MASSACHUSETTS

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on chemistry, biology, engineering or related field, and/or five or more years of relevant work experience. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of processing cannabis into hash, extracts, tinctures, sublinguals and other products. Must possess strong Management and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to multi-task while staying highly organized and detail oriented. Candidate should exercise good communication, with positivity, enthusiasm and eagerness and initiative to learn.
Other necessary skills include adaptability, strong computer skills, technically inclined to be able to operate laboratory machinery. Must also be able to lift at least 35lbs on occasion.

Responsibilities (Include, but not limited to):

• Manage all aspects of processing cannabis into hash, extracts, tinctures, sublinguals and other products.
• Run complex high-end extraction machinery
• Troubleshoot down equipment and basic equipment maintenance.
• Maintain an organized and clean laboratory environment
• Understand and follow all safety protocols and SOPs
• Maintain detailed record keeping
• Manage lab technicians and oversee every step of the manufacturing process
• Complete whatever task is needed such as packaging and data entry.
• Provide detailed reports summarizing laboratory results to Lab Director
