Lab Manager - Cannabis Testing Facility

M&F Talent is looking for an experienced Lab Manager to oversee operations at a cannabis testing facility . This is a great opportunity for someone with a degree in the sciences as well as cannabis testing lab experience.

General Responsibilities:

• Creation & Update laboratory technical procedures (analytical methods)
• Enforce quality policy. Train technical staff on procedures and techniques
• Responsible for data quality and review; Generation of analytical reports to customers
• Participates in annual Management Review, and all internal or external audits
• Manage purchasing, and storage of materials, including analytical reference materials
• Monitoring of maintenance of analytical instrumentation
• Evaluate both OOS & CAPA reports with the Laboratory Director and Quality department.
• Provided Opinions and Interpretations when necessary regarding the quality and meaning of analytical data contained within analytical reports provided to customers.

Education and experience required:

• Bachelor's degree in a science field with a minimum of five years' experience in analytical laboratory management.
• MS or PhD degree in science field with a minimum of 2 years of Cannabis experience.
• Management experience
