M&F Talent is looking for an experienced Lab Director to oversee operations at a cannabis testing facility in the Los Angeles, CA area. This is a great opportunity for someone with a degree in the sciences as well as cannabis testing lab experience.
General Responsibilities:
- Creation & Update laboratory technical procedures (analytical methods)
- Enforce quality policy. Train technical staff on procedures and techniques
- Responsible for data quality and review; Generation of analytical reports to customers
- Participates in annual Management Review, and all internal or external audits
- Manage purchasing, and storage of materials, including analytical reference materials
- Monitoring of maintenance of analytical instrumentation
- Evaluate both OOS & CAPA reports with the Laboratory Director and Quality department.
- Provided Opinions and Interpretations when necessary regarding the quality and meaning of analytical data contained within analytical reports provided to customers.
Education and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in a science field with a minimum of five years' experience in analytical laboratory management.
- MS or PhD degree in science field with a minimum of 2 years of Cannabis experience.
