Reporting to: Kitchen Manager, Laboratory Operations Manager, General Manager

Direct Reports: Packagers

Role Overview

The Kitchen Associate will be responsible for the high-volume manufacturing of cannabis edibles. Under the direction of the Kitchen Manager the Kitchen Associate will manufacture a number of infused products including chocolates, teas, gummies, mints and baked goods in a large-scale state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility. Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or formal culinary education preferred
  • At least three years of kitchen experience required
  • Food manufacturing experience required
  • Experience operating and maintaining kitchen machinery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Startup experience preferred

Responsibilities (Include, but not limited to):

  • Manufacture high volume of medical grade cannabis infused edibles
  • Track inventory, ordering, scheduling and forecasting.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and efficient kitchen environment adhering to state compliance regulations and internal SOPs
  • Maintain quality control of entire manufacturing pipeline of all products and develop and adapt SOPs as necessary
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and oversee equipment maintenance
  • Source ingredients and assist kitchen manager in relationships with vendors
