Job Summary
The Key Account Manager supports new sales by creating a long term creative services marketing business plan for our existing accounts. Identifying our client's creative services needs is key to your success. This role will also establish new accounts by prospecting, fielding new lead inquiries, qualifying new potential clients, facilitating project discovery calls, generating and presenting proposals, and closing the deal. Your responsibility is to manage lead channels, respond the same day of an inquiry, provide relevant information about our agency and services, and qualify clients to ensure we are a fit for their budget, timeline, and expectations. You will be expected to provide weekly reports recapping the lead source, # of total leads, channel breakdown, and other relevant metrics that provide insight surrounding leads, lead capture, and new sales. This position will be working within a team environment, working collaboratively with the Director of Sales, Project Managers and Sale Support Specialist

Examples of Essential Functions:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Prospect, qualify and establish new accounts

Grow existing accounts
-
Respond to leads in a timely fashion

Provide information to prospective new clients, services and pricing

Qualify new leads, in-line with our agency model, budget, timeline, expectations

Run project discovery meetings that define the scope of the prospective project

Build quotes and participate in proposal builds for the purpose of closing each deal

Proposal presentations
- Live proposal follow-up

Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports

Collaborate with marketing in a monthly meeting for strategy

Work collaboratively with Director of Sales, Sales Support Specialist (SSS) and Project Managers (PMs)

Understand and maintain KPIs to report to Director of Sales
- Generate and maintain reports to determine if company-wide sales goals are being met, what strategies are working, and make suggestions for improvements or change where needed

Analyze trends and create sales plans to help ensure consistent cash flow and expand the company's customer base to ensure its strong presence in the marketplace

Meet established sales quota consistently

Ensure the CRM system is updated daily

Implement new and innovative methods for increasing overall sales

Visit clients at their places of business or at networking or industry events

Maintain relationship with the accounts that become clients (You won't be asked to be the project manager, just be there to keep them happy when needed.)

Maintain and support prioritization of proposals in the pipeline

Present upcoming discovery meetings and proposals due at the Monday Morning Stand Up meetings

Communicate clearly any support requirements needed to meet your goals

Help build the department's policies and procedures

Qualifications Guidelines
We are looking for someone who is passionate and excited about our industry and has the qualities necessary to shine in this position. Your capacity to learn quickly as well as guide the company's sales department is what we're after. We expect you to have the following in spades:
Education/training/experience:

Must be Mac proficient
-
You should be familiar with current web and social software such as OS X, Google Docs / Sheets, CRM software, social media networks, slack (or other instant messaging), and other office tools

You should be proficient in: word processing, email communication, phone and text protocols, spreadsheets, and other forms of external and internal office communications

College degree a plus
Knowledge of:
- Clear, applicable work experience in sales

A fundamental understanding of sales cycles and strategies
-
Proficiency in CRM software and the Google Apps suite
- A fundamental understanding of the emerging cannabis industry is a must

Demonstrable proficiency in establishing and meeting sales goals

You don't need to be a designer or web developer, but you do need to know how to speak the language. Experience in the graphics, marketing, print and web industries is a huge plus and will weigh strongly in our decision, however it's not required.
