We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our growing team as we expand our product offerings and distribution across Colorado. This position is open to Colorado state residents who currently hold or are qualified to hold a Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Badge.
In this role, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing the top accounts in our company. The Key Account Manager must build and maintain a strong relationship with the client. This person will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipating the client's needs, working within the company structure to ensure all deadlines for the client are met, and help the client and the company succeed.
The Key Account Manager will manage an existing book of business as well as bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and develop new relationships with potential clients. By closely managing multiple multi-door chain accounts, the Key Account Manager will meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals.

Responsibilities:
Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure account health and growth
Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements

Expand existing customer relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet client and company objectives
Anticipate key account changes and improvements
Ensure accurate order fulfillment in a timely manner
Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
Quickly resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with issues appropriately to maintain trust
Play an integral role in generating new key account sales that will turn in to long-lasting relationships
Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
Professionally represents company and brand at industry events 

Participates in regular sales reporting and forecasting
Strategic planning to improve client results
Negotiating contracts with client and establishing timelines
Collaborate with sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
Working with leadership, sales team, production, creative, and other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met
Support and contribute to sales strategies to accommodate corporate goals 


Coordinate between internal departments to service accounts and goals of the sales team and the company

Requirements:
Proven experience as large, multi-door account manager
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field
Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
Excellent organizational skills
Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Goal-oriented, organized team player
Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
Self-motivated and self-directed
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
In-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry
Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
Minimum of four years' previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account
Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
