Junior Marketer
Job Description
The Junior Marketer (JM) role supports marketing operations at KindPeoples by compiling, formatting, and reporting information and materials. The candidate will apply industry-leading marketing tools for the planning, implementing and managing of marketing initiatives. In an evolving industry, the JM will be nimble, creative and driven, finding new channels to reach new markets. The position will work closely with senior marketing staff, creative team, and events staff to accomplish goals.
Minimum Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting purposes
- Proficiency in Powerpoint/Keynote for presentation purposes
- Effective interpersonal skills and strong communication (written and verbal)
- Highly organized and detailed oriented
- Self-motivated producer
- Bachelor degree
- 2 years marketing/public relations experience
- Cannabis industry experience a plus
Data-Driven Marketing
- Assembles consumer rating reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations.
- Provides marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Manage the SMS coupon discount program by creating deals, analyzing deal metrics and summarizing data.
- Conduct Surveys (internal services surveys, customer experience surveys), analysis, and presentation.
- Social media platform management
- Schedule, track, analyze and interact on social platforms using creative team’s content.
Events and Public Relations
- Manage media relationships, issue press releases for public announcements
- Work with Marketing Director to establish event goals.
- Coordinate event logistics, organize headcount, execute events and assist in breakdown.
- Attend events as brand ambassador managing marketing materials.
- Assist on Social Media with community-based posts.
- Foster relationships with similar community businesses.
- Maintain marketing materials.
General Marketing
- Work with marketing team to create and execute local/regional marketing campaigns both digital and print.
- Leveraging product details for information based PSA and educational content.
- Assist with KPC sale event creation and execution.
- Copywriting.
- Competitor evaluation, cost analysis between dispensaries, secret shoppers.
- Manage and maximize new member form marketing data.
- Manage media relationships
