Summary

Inventories, stores, prices, and restocks merchandise displays in retail store by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Takes inventory and/or examines merchandise to identify state requirements.

Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise, checking invoice against items received. Enter labs and required information set by Nevada NRS 365a into inventory software system.

Stamps, attaches, or changes METRC tags and barcodes on merchandise.

Stocks storage areas and sales displays with new or transferred merchandise.

Sets up and displays merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.

Nightly floor count of sales floor inventory.

Cleans display cases, shelves, and aisles.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must posses a Nevada Dispensary agent card and be 21 years of age or older.
