Job Summary

Urbn Leaf, the new standard in licensed dispensaries is now searching for individuals to expand our team. We are seeking hip and talented individuals with a keen sense of appropriate professional demeanor and dress for an upscale dispensary. We expect exceptional customer service skills with experience within the cannabis industry, or as an alternative, a strong background in hospitality, retail merchandising or management outside the industry.

Position Summary:

Responsible for receiving product, creating or modifying product in inventory system, labeling, packaging and stocking as necessary. Works under Purchasing Manger to ensure product is received and entered into system appropriately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure products are in their ideal state upon arrival
• Ensure shipping manifests and chain of custody procedures are completed properly
• Communicate any issues to Purchasing/Receiving Manager
• If product is damaged or incomplete work with vendor to update invoice correctly
• Ensure all product is entered into system correctly
• Ensure all product is labeled, coded and packaged correctly
• Ensure all transfer orders are filled and executed daily
• Create new products and vendor files when new product is received
• Ensure proper transfer from back stock to sellable shelf for any and all products
• Ensure all products are kept in their ideal state to preserve freshness and quality of each product
• Ensure dispensary & delivery team are notified when new products are received, and they have the necessary tools to roll out the new product to staff and guests

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years experience in high volume establishments with extensive knowledge in the cannabis industry
• Must be able to input and access information in the POS system, delivery systems, marketing outlets, computers, etc
• Must be comfortable learning new skills
• Must have a hands-on, proactive management style

Education:

Must have one or more of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
• Four years’ relevant experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Valid California Driver’s License
• Valid California Medical Marijuana Dr.’s Recommendation
• CPR and First Aid certified (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time
• Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours at a time
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly
• Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 to $15.00 /hour

Experience:

• Receiving: 1 year

• Inventory Management: 3 years
