Job Summary
DreamFields is a California based Cannabis company with operational linkages and multiple brands located throughout the legalized California Market. The company is experiencing exponential growth and is seeking for immediate hire a competent Inventory Manager who will be responsible for leading the Inventory Department, managing the product inventory and key compliance functions related to the company inventory system.
The position is located in Desert Hot Springs at our state licensed facility.
The Individual must have proven experience, be polished, organized, accountable, dependable, have high attention to detail and be ready to work in a dynamic, growing, high performance company environment.
Direct Responsibilities:

Manage Company State Metric Inventory System – Directly responsible to manage, oversee, administer, police, control and utilize State Inventory Metric system to track all cannabis inventory activity for the Company. This involves daily inputs, manipulation of inventory data by quantity, strain, potency, brand, source, etc. The system must be up to date on a daily basis and is subject to state & internal audit at any time. Must ensure physical paperwork including manifest, invoices & test results match inputs in inventory system.

Live Inventory Reporting - Manage, update and report daily inventory activity and sales using Google Sheets reporting system; this include cannabis and non-cannabis inventory levels.

Auditing - Lead daily auditing maintenance practices, enforce team in tracking & reporting activity. Manager Friday inventory Audit ensuring systems match and all items are accounted for.

Cannabis Inventory Room Management - Police secured Cannabis inventory room and maintain a controlled system … enforce inventory sign-in and sign-out for all activity. Ensure all Cannabis product and materials are secured at the close of each day.

Non Cannabis Inventory Room Management – Manage, update and report daily non-cannabis products and inventory level fluctuations in stock levels, issues, etc.

Inventory Accuracy - Handle intake and outtake of products to ensure accuracy of quantiles and ensure all activity is tracked with proper approvals. Complete weighing of incoming product and verify third party documentation has no errors or discrepancies.

Inventory Stock Level Maintenance - Communicate supply levels to management & sale team monitoring thresholds so minimum inventory levels are maintained. Identify and be proactive in identifying material shortages and needs.

State Product Compliance Testing - Administer, manage and coordinate R&D & State Compliance Product Testing working with Third Party Testing companies. Ensure required paperwork is accurate, batches quantities are correct, product details are represented property and specifications meet state requirements. File appropriate paperwork in Google drive system and update Metric system.

Product Waste Reporting – Work directly with third party cannabis waste company to ensure waste activities are managed and recorded properly.

Coordination with Production Team - Work with Production team to place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus. Analyze data to anticipate future needs.

Coordination with Purchasing Team – Work directly with purchasing team to maintain inventory stock, etc.

Coordination with Orders Team - Work directly with distribution division in the process of filling orders, pulling product and handling related order details that are directly tied to inventory.

Report to Senior Executive Team – Report to Senior management on a daily, weekly and monthly basis communicating the status of the Inventory Department ensuring business objectives are met.

Department Advancement – Lead the Inventory Department, be accountable for the department growth, recommend software solutions & innovations, design SOPs, methods, policies & procedures to advance the department to ensure it meets the needs of the company. Identify cost-effective strategies and efficiencies to improve the department. and maintain trust relationships

Mandatory Skills & Requirements:
- At least 2 – 5 years proven experience working with a Cannabis Inventory System Platform and / or working knowledge of an advanced Inventory Management Software / Barcode System
- At least 3 - 5 years proven experience working as Inventory Manager in an established operation
- Must Pass DHS Live scan
- Google Suite – Drive, Sheets, Gmail, etc.
- Microsoft Office – Word, Excel

Salary: $45,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
