What you’ll be doing:
We are building a high-performance team that is committed to results, hard work, and success. As the Inventory Control Specialist, you will be managing inventory through our database and maintain levels required daily to meet distribution demands. You will be reporting up to the L&D manager, and working closely with the Packaging and Distribution team.
Your responsibilities:
Inventory Control
Data entry for quantities and transfers between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into database .
Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired. FIFO controls and expirations
Create and maintain a cycle count process.
Prepare reports for cycle count
Perform and coordinate cycle counts with team .
Create physical inventory process, plan, and execute full physical inventory counts every 2 weeks.
Maintain and update inventory records
Create efficient and accurate inventory management procedures.
Reconcile inventories to book records and make adjustments as necessary.
Coordinate and verify issues related to damaged, defective, or mis -shipment of goods to customers.
Order Fulfillment
Assist order fulfillment employees when inventory discrepancies are identified during picking or other warehouse processes.
Intake, evaluation, and documentation of freight damage both inbound and outbound
Intake, evaluation, documentation, and resolution of returned merchandise.
Communicate with Sales team on order resolution that has a customer impact.
Resolve and document inventory discrepancies and adjustments and attain manager approval for resolution.
Communicate resolution of issues to Distribution & Accounting departments
Make recommendations to management on programs to improve inventory management and security.
Assist with Shipping and/or receiving as required.
Plan and implement a recoup program to ensure that all damaged and defective product is accounted for and properly handled. Maintain records to accurately track recouped product and return saleable product to stock.
Manage the fulfillment quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reporting. This includes investigation and tracking of shipping errors and inventory accuracy metrics
Plan and implement a recoup program to ensure that all damaged and defective product is accounted for and properly handled. Maintain records to accurately track recouped product.
About you:

Must be able to pass a DOJ live scan
Must be able to lift/move up to 40+ lbs.

Your experience and skills include:
3+ years of inventory control experience
Training in general safety, damage awareness, quality systems awareness.
Some supervisory or team lead experience
Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with experience in business, manufacturing, or production environments.
