Can It Nature’s Medicines (CAN IT) is an applicant for the Florida Medical Marijuana Treatment Center license.
The Role
This position in contingent the approval to CAN IT of the MMTC Florida State License. In preparation, we are looking for an Inventory Administrator to be responsible for all inventory management in our dispensary retail operations in Florida.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and adheres to established control process and procedures.
- Receives and processes all incoming shipments.
- Maintains detailed manifest of shipments (incoming and outgoing).
- Maintains logs and files documents.
- Unloads incoming freight.
- Checks all orders for damage and record on waybill as necessary.
- Verifies count against product list and receive in the inventory management system.
- Organizes and maintains products in storage areas.
- Secures products in bins, on floor area, on shelves according to identifying information.
- Ensure that all sales are compliant and tracked in seed-to-sale tracking system.
- Maintains inventory in secured storage areas.
- Audit products by performing cycle counts.
- Updates all internal process documentation.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work.
- Work collectively and respectfully with other team members.
- Respond to the Compliance Manager.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- METRC, Biotrack, MJ freeway, or inventory management software experienced.
- Should be willing and able to give direction to staff and management team with regards to log schedules and inventory usage as necessary.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Individual must possess strong organized skills and be flexible with changing work priorities.
- Balanced and intuitive decision making.
- Ability to use standard office equipment and computer software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email.
- Candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Basic understanding of the medical cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the State.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic.
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Windows Applications, including Excel
