The Company

Can It Nature’s Medicines (CAN IT) is an applicant for the Florida Medical Marijuana Treatment Center license.

The Role

This position in contingent the approval to CAN IT of the MMTC Florida State License. In preparation, we are looking for an Inventory Administrator to be responsible for all inventory management in our medical cannabis cultivation facility in Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and adheres to established control process and procedures.
  • Perform daily physical product inventory counts.
  • Inventory clones and update data in tracking software daily.
  • Cycle count/audit plant movement and update system with current stage and locations.
  • Perform final counts prior to harvest.
  • Check bucket for plants tags to be destroyed; track and notify manager of plant destruction.
  • Check clipboards for plants removed from rows and update system accordingly.
  • Calculate weights based on harvest sheet information provided by harvest team and perform harvest transaction in system.
  • Apply lot tracking labels.
  • Assist, prepare and verify orders for clones, veg or flower ready plants.
  • Monitor and develop processes to increase count and plant tagging efficiency.
  • Establish benchmarks and efficiencies for key work areas.
  • Updates all internal process documentation.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work.
  • Work collectively and respectfully with other team members.
  • Respond to the Compliance Manager.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • METRC, Biotrack, MJ freeway, or inventory management software experienced.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Individual must possess strong organized skills and be flexible with changing work priorities.
  • Balanced and intuitive decision making.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and computer software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email.
  • Candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Basic understanding of the medical cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the State.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic.
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
