Assist the Infused Production team with the activities and operations required to complete the functions of the department. Study and comprehend all policies, procedures and operational guidelines set by the management team. This position is responsible for assisting with Infused Production, which includes but is not limited to inventory management, production of cannabis infused products, compliance requirements, and workplace safety.
Essential functions

Set-up and operate various instruments and equipment according to SOP’s

Trouble shoot problems with equipment, devices and products

Maintain a neat, clean and compliant work space

Complete and maintain batch records, production logs, equipment logs, sanitation checklists and other required paperwork/records

Understand and meet daily goals
-
Handle and store all ingredients and products in accordance with required standards/regulations
-
Clean, sanitize and maintain all equipment, utensils, surfaces and floors throughout the work area

Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste per SOP and local requirements
-
Assist management in processing and testing of products, processes and procedures
-
Perform quality inspections of product

Maintain inventory of raw materials
-
Work as part of a team to meet production schedules

Other duties as assigned
Job Specifications

Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences, especially with direct supervisors and co-workers

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees

Basic math skills
-
Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for dealing with hazardous chemicals

Understanding & adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.

Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email
Additional Requirements

Illinois driver’s license or State ID card

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

Must pass all required background checks

Must be and remain compliant with all legal & company regulations for working in the industry

Must be approved by the D.O.A. to receive & maintain an Agent badge
Minimum Education and Experience
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Previous food service, laboratory, and/or manufacturing experience preferred
-
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience
Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform standing, sitting, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, reaching and repetitive motions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (200 pounds with assistance).
