Anresco (1943) is primarily a food testing laboratory focused on performing a wide range of analyses (chemistry, microbiology, GC, HPLC, and microscopy) on domestic and imported products. We also perform testing of cannabis products to determine potency and ensure product safety. We are ISO 17025 accredited, meet FDA standards for import testing, and are licensed by the CA Bureau of Cannabis Control to perform cannabis testing. About the Job:
We are looking for an analyst with ICP-MS experience. In addition to testing food, cannabis, and environmental samples for heavy metals, the analyst will also be working on developing/validating methods for new matrices. Said methods will likely be published once finalized.
Education/Experience Requirements:
A BS in Chemistry or related degree is required. Relevant experience in food chemistry or a commercial lab is a plus but not required. ICP-MS experience, in particular with the Perkin Elmer Nexion instruments, are a huge plus but also not required.
Compensation:
Pay would be negotiable based on qualifications. For candidates with no experience, it would most likely start at $17/hr with review after three months. For candidates with ICP-MS experience, pay would be negotiable.
In addition to salary, the candidate would be eligible for a retention bonus and profit sharing, which equate to another $2-4/hr.
