Green Health Docs is seeking a full-time or part-time human resources manager to assist us we expand into Ohio and further out mission to combat the nation's opioid epidemic by giving patients access to medical cannabis. Green Health Docs is a collection of 8 doctor offices in Maryland and Ohio that certify patients for the state's cannabis program.
Responsibilities of HR Manager:
- Hire appropriate personnel for Maryland and Ohio clinics including doctors, nurse practitioners, office managers/receptionists, and contact center reps.
- Screening resumes, performing phone interviews, and presenting the best candidates to the management team for final interviews.
- Keeping track of all employee hours weekly.
- Ensuring that all clinics are staffed and preparing for planned absences in clinic locations in advance with replacement docs/NPs or staff members.
- Ensuring all HR paperwork/regulations are being documented/followed by Green Health Docs
- New employee paperwork and on-boarding.
- Other typical responsibilities of an HR manager as requested or as needed.
Required Work Experience:
- (1) One year of experience as an HR recruiter, generalist, or manager.
Skills:
- Bachelors Degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with posting ads on Craigslist and Indeed
- Team Player with focus on good communication, collaboration, and teamwork
- Ability to keep up with rapid pace of company growth with increased hiring needs
- Knowledge of compensation strategy, performance management, employee relations, safety practices and talent acquisition, and the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience as HR Recruiter, Manager or Generalist required.
