To do this, we need the perfect coach for the team; an HR Director who knows how to onboard and motivate a team as well as how to navigate the legal challenges that come with combining HR laws and rapid changing cannabis laws.
Responsibilities
- Develop corporate plans for various HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety, etc.
- Support the HR Department and Leadership by developing strategies for performance evaluations, staffing, training and development etc.
- Manage all HR initiatives, systems and strategies
- Serve as the point of contact for employment relations
- Monitor adherence of internal policies and legal standards
- Report HR Data Analysis and metrics to senior management
Requirements
- Proven experience as HR Manager/Director
- Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet company objectives
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
- Thorough knowledge of human resource management philosophies and best practices
- A business acumen combined with great attention to the human element
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
- BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in human resources a plus
