HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer the Human Resource Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate the administrative functions of the HR organization to include recruiting, interviewing of new staff, collaboration with executive management on strategic HR planning and serve as a link between MMAC’ s management and its employees. The manager will establish and document policies and procedures to guide the organization’s implementation of HR best practices that will lead to a high-performance culture and the retention of a superior workforce. Compensation plan development and benefit program administration will be the responsibility of the Human Resource Manager.
Key skill sets include knowledge and experience in HR policy development and documentation, employment law, compensation/benefits, employee relations, safety, labor relations, strong written and verbal communication skills and affiliation with related professional Human Resource organizations.
MMAC largely initiated its operating activities in 2017 and the sourcing of the above referenced position represents the first step toward the formation of a functional HR department to address the needs described above. The person who is selected to serve in this capacity shall be the thought leader to create first approaches with respect to the core responsibilities of the department as well as the initial administrator to undertake the daily duties of the function, including management of the time recording and payroll systems.
BACKGROUND
Minimum of a Bachelor’ degree or equivalent in Human Resource, Business or related major. A minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resource positions to include specialized training in employment law, employee relations and labor relations combined with active affiliations with appropriate Human Resource networks.
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the individuals experience and will include both a base salary and bonus opportunity.
