Job Description:

This is a Third Shift position.

Performs a wide range or clerical and administrative duties for the HR department, including translation of written and verbal communication in Spanish and English, data entry, emails, filing, copying, scanning, faxing, completing forms, etc. Also functions as the attendant of the Dispensary. Will be required to administer first aid to inured or ill employees and providing support to management during emergencies and injury. Provide service to employees through answering questions, providing information, handing out forms, etc. Requires basic knowledge of HR practices, company policies.

Summary of Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties make be assigned.

  • Perform a wide range of clerical functions predominately to the HR department, but also for other members of departments as needed.
  • Administer first aid to injured or ill employees.
  • Serve as a member of the emergency first response team when accidents and injuries occur
  • Provided bilingual interpretation in Spanish and English.
  • Assist in investigations, complete paperwork and forms.
  • Provide prompt, professional and courteous customer service to employees and management, answering questions, handing out forms and assist in finding information
  • Answer phone calls, transfer calls and make system pages.
  • Conduct a variety of audits, inspections and checks to ensure compliance with Company policies and legal regulations
  • Perform hearing tests.
  • Maintain logs of medical treatment and reports of illness or injury.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and remain on task
  • Complete work while also dealing with frequent interruptions.
  • Requires frequent trips in to processing departments.
  • Other assignments as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Preference for some post-secondary education, or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess or attain certification in First Aid, CPR and AED.
