JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a high-performing HR professional to help us meet our employee onboarding, compliance standards, and conflict management needs. You will be responsible for HR process support, crafting policy, and explaining policies and programs to employees. This individual must be able to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently, and be adaptable to change priorities and tasks as needed. We have a very fast- paced environment as we continue to grow and expand. Must be motivated, trustworthy, and a team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruiting and staffing logistics.
  • Employee orientation process.
  • Assisting with employee relations.
  • Support company-employee communication.
  • Benefits administration and recordkeeping.
  • Maintaining employee files and the HR filing system.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by the Employee Relations Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Experience in administration of benefits and other HR programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Skills in record keeping.
  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Preferred

  • BS degree in Human Resources, business administration or a related field
  • HR experience
  • Experience in the cannabis industry

COMPENSATION

  • Depending on Experience.
