This role is responsible for making sure that all compliance laws are being followed by our employees, as well as partnering with the Corporate team to perform HR duties and implement broader HR policy in Carson City.   • Possess a strong understanding of the NV regulations and laws as it pertains to the NV Medical Marijuana program
  • Support the medical cannabis product inventory control through the state’s designated platform for reporting and analysis
  • Understand the expectations and in the absence of the GM of Cultivation or Market President lead the weekly inspection by the State of NV
  • Develop internal controls and policies designed to ensure that all compliance needs are met
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and maintain the team’s agenda
  • Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
  • Fill in and perform for various departments, as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • 3+ years in a general management, or office administration
  • Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of GTI
  • Must have a solid understanding of the Medical Marijuana laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state and the D.O.A.; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws is appreciated and commendable
  • Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in each departments’ operations.
  • Skill in analyzing potential problems and problem resolution.
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and other co-workers.
  • Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately while not overstepping chain of command.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees, upper management, and other departments
  • Experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position

  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must be approved by the D.O.A. to receive an Agent badge
