This is a temporary position
Assists in various departments, performing various tasks including general cleaning, stacking pallets by hand, making boxes and other simple activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning within the specific department assigned, including, but not limited to: wiping down, blowing down, sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Has detailed knowledge of work area and processes to be able to help monitor and assist in operations.
- Follows established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and safety policies while performing job duties.
Successful Candidates Will Have
- The ability to read, write, and understand English. (Without an interpreter)
- The ability to work in a team environment in a positive manner of respect, cooperation & flexibility.
- Good work ethic and ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior food processing experience (preferred, not required).
- The ability to lift 55 pounds repeatedly.
- Prolonged standing and repetitive bending.
- Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
