Part Time Harvest Team Member
Position Summary:
Curaleaf is a rapidly expanding, multi-state medical cannabis company dedicated to the needs of its patients. As part of the Harvest Team you will work when we have are Harvesting, which is approximately 14 8 hour days per month. You will work taking down the plants and de-leafing them. You will work closely with a team of harvesters under the guidance of professional Cannabis Growers. This is an excellent position for those who have flexibility in their schedule or want to get their “foot in the door” of a major Medical Cannabis company. The company operates under the highest standards of professionalism. Meticulous attention to detail is required.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist in all plant care during harvest.
- De-leafing the plants to prepare them for curing
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Implement good agricultural practices (GAPs) and follow all GMPs.
- Any other tasks assigned by management
Employment requirements:
- Must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the state
- Be able to follow production schedules in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of grow warehouse
- Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail
Job requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Pass a background check
Skills & Abilities:
- Punctuality and reliability are a MUST
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time
- Ability to work with regulated material in a high-paced environment
- Horticultural background a plus
- Ability to focus & attention to detail
- Ability to communicate both verbally and written
- Must have a professional persona
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks.
- Close visual focus required.
- This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lb.
