Harvest Team Member
Job Description:
Harvesting cannabis in an efficient manner which includes, cutting the plant at the base, defoliating the cannabis plant and hanging it upside down in the drying rooms. Harvesters will be responsible for coordinating with the Harvest Manager to ensure the proper plants are being harvested and accounted for. Each candidate must be 21 and able to pass a Level 2 Background Check with the Florida Department of Health: felonies, DUIs, and some misdemeanors are not allowed by the state to work in this industry. Skills/Abilities:
-Employees must exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
-Employees must be able to work well independently, as well as with others.
-Employees must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana they are trimming; adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.
-Time management; employees must manage their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.
-Employees must be able to follow basic instructions as well as be able to take constructive criticism from their managers so they can help maintain quality standards and production goals.
Requirements:
-Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
-Must pass any and all required background checks
-Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
-Must be able to lift 50lbs or greater
-Must be able to be on your feet for 8+ hours
