OLCC Cannabis Farm in Grants Pass looking for harvest help!
We are a Tier II OLCC Cannabis Farm in Grants Pass. We are hiring seasonal help for the following positions:
-Harvest Crew Member
-Trim Team Specialist
Applicant must work well within a team, follow directions, and be prepared to work. Ideally, candidates have cannabis experience.
Position: Harvest Crew Member
Harvest will begin on or around 10/1 and continue for roughly 5 weeks.
The pay for this job is $15.00 per/hr.
Harvest responsibilities can include:
-cutting down plants into totes
-carrying totes of wet plants from harvest area to drying area and back (within 2 acre farm)
-wet trimming plants by hand
-removing water leaves from wet plants by hand
-running a small table top trim machine (trim pro)
-lifting totes of wet plants onto scale for weighing
-hanging wet plants for drying and putting wet plants on drying racks
-bucking down buds off of stems into totes
Position: Trim Team Specialist
Trim work will begin around 10/15 after initial dry product from harvest has dried.
The pay for this job is based on production of nice trimmed buds at $100.00 per pound.
All applicants must have their own trim tools (Fiskars, gloves, trim tray, other items trimmer needs to perform job)
Both positions are available for hire and will overlap in timing and duration. This means that we are willing to hire people to perform both activities, or just one position.
We will be conducting interviews between 9/24 and 9/28.
This is a job for a legitimate company and the pay will be on the books.
Requirements for Hire:
-21+ years of age
-Valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit in hand (not pending)
-repeatedly lift 30 pound totes
-work long hours in adverse weather
-show up to work consistently and on time
-have their own reliable transportation
-Not be under the influence of alcohol or hard drugs
