We are looking for highly motivated, independent, and organized individual to join our Grower Services Team as a Grower Services Admin Assistant.
Position Summary: This position provides support to the Grower Services Department. This position supports the procurement of fruit from outside growers, compliance programs, and harvest administrative activities. This is a seasonal position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate on a regular basis with the Grower Services Manager to keep manager apprised of daily activities.
- Assist with document control and develop department policy and procedure documents.
- Maintain pesticide application records to verify regulatory compliance and product specification criteria.
- Maintain and organize grower documentation and files electronically and physically, ensuring audit preparedness at all times.
- Assist in preparation for food safety farm and production site audits.
- Communicate with growers to provide daily volume, dockage and quality reports.
- Create, maintain and manage harvest, farm activity and delivery databases.
- Collect irrigation water samples from the field and submit samples to the lab, as required.
- Collect fruit samples from the field and submit samples to lab site, as required.
- Create and maintain reports for the Grower Services Manager and other members of the production team.
- Support growers with documentation preparation and other administrative tasks, as needed.
- Assist with grading, receiving and logistic duties, as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of administrative experience
- Ability to work weekends, as required.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once * Ability to write, speak and interact clearly and professionally.
- Requires strong organization, time management, analytical, problem solving and research skills * Worker must wear proper clothing and footwear depending on the season. Closed-toe footwear is required.
- Worker must be able to perform all duties within this job description in what can be considered a safe manner and follow all established safety guidelines, practices, and procedures.
Desirable to have a general understanding of agricultural production
Licenses and/or Certifications: Valid Washington State driver's license

Salary: $12.00 to $13.00 /hour
