We are currently looking for experienced Growers or entry-level Assistant Growers to join our team at our commercial growing facility located in scenic Bucks County at 6071 Durham Road, Pipersville, PA 18947.
Our Growers are directly responsible for product quality in their assigned production area. Growers will work together with Assistant Growers to achieve the common goal of growing only the finest.
Duties for Growers and Assistant Growers include, but are not limited to:
- Proper irrigation of crops
- Monitoring crops for growth, health, insects and diseases
- Fertilizer and nutrient management and application
- Crop record keeping and reporting crop development and any issues to Head Grower
- General housekeeping of the assigned greenhouse section
Qualifications needed:
- For Growers, a minimum of 3 years commercial greenhouse growing experience is required
- For Assistant Growers, some experience or a horticultural degree is required
- A passion for growing floriculture products at a commercial level
- Ability to accurately follow instructions and effectively communicate
Applicants must be able to:
- Maneuver a watering hose
- Be on your feet for 8+ hours each day
- Lift, carry, and move 25+ pounds
- Work in greenhouse environment with varying temperatures, dirt, dust, and other possible allergens
