Grower for indoor hops

Job Summary

24 Hour Hops is a startup that will be growing hop plants indoors for home and craft brewers. This is a great flexible job for someone with indoor growing experience that is looking for extra income. The time of day and the days of the week for work are flexible.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to aid in the build out of the greenhouse. Once the greenhouse is functional the grower will be responsible for the growing and harvesting of the hop plants. We do not expect the candidate to have knowledge of the hops plant but instead have at least 3 years of knowledge of indoor growing with either vegetables or cannabis. The candidate must live in the city of Maricopa, AZ.

Desired skills and knowledge include:

• Experience formulating and mixing nutrients.
• Experience identifying plant nutrient deficiencies and making appropriate adjustments
• Ability to be at the greenhouse 5 days a week (actual time each day will vary depending on tasks)
• Familiarity with pest management
• Automated monitoring (such as Smartbee or Bluelab)
• Data collection and crop analysis

The lead grower will work closely with owner with possibility to participate in profit sharing program.
