Commercial Cannabis Facility Seeking Entry Level Grower
We are a licensed commercial cannabis grow facility seeking a full-time entry level grower/laborer to assist us in our cultivation facility. This position will be full time between the hours of 7-4. The position will have two consecutive days off in a row but not necessarily the weekends. No prior cultivation experience is required, we will train you for our system. Just be prepared to physically work hard and you could be the right fit. Compensation starts at $14 an hour for a 90 day trial period and then moves to $15. Employee will be eligible for health benefits after the 90 day probationary period.
People that work well in this position are used to being on their feet all day. People with kitchen, farming, construction, and landscaping backgrounds are usually excellent fits.
Job description/ Duties include but are not limited to:
Cleaning, sweeping and mopping
Mixing coco/soils
Organizing
Transplanting
Cloning
Applying Pesticides in a manor compliant with WPS and MED rules
Mixing nutrients
Pruning and defoliating
Setting trellis nets on tables
Moving plants
Checking drip system functions
This is a job with a heavy focus on manual labor. Applicant must be capable of lifting 45 lbs. or more repeatedly. Punctuality, hard work, attention to detail, and consistency are attributes that we are seeking. Applicant must have reliable transportation and a support or key badge. Previous grow experience is not necessary.
