Responsibilities:
- Discuss plant growing activities with Head Grower that are consistent with planned production schedules
- Monitor growing conditions and discuss changes in humidity, moisture, temperature and other cultivation procedures with Head Grower to ensure conformance with quality control standards
- Prepare space required for planned production
- Inspect crops’ physical development and monitor pests or disease to maintain quality standards
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides as directed
- Assist in the development of growing procedures for new species and new cultivation techniques for existing crops
- Maintain records of growing and production techniques for future review identifying trends and forecasting space allocation needs
- Assist in training new employees in growing techniques and activities
- Maintain a current knowledge of growing techniques and technologies
- Assists the Head Grower and performs other duties as assigned

Education and or Work Experience Requirements:
- 2-4 year degree in Horticulture or related field
- 3-5 years related work experience (not including Cannabis production)
- Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the position
