Job Responsibilities

• Assist in creating planting schedule to maintain continuous production.
• Scout, monitor, and research control options for pests.
• Assist in monitoring and implementing cultural requirements for crops.
• Assist in monitoring equipment and facilities to ensure proper functions, and help identify necessary repairs.
• Maintains inventory of fertilizers, media, seeds and other supplies.
• Create and maintain detailed records of growing techniques, IPM, maintenance and production; review records and reports to identify trends
• Designs and implements communication & educational programs and develops key materials for external and internal audiences as it relates to the Greenhouse
• Maintains a current knowledge of industry best practices and technologies.
• Monitor plants and growing conditions, adjusting environmental controls, to maximize production.
