Currently looking for an experienced CEO with strong leadership and cultivation management skills to fill an opening with a highly successful southwest cannabis agricultural company*. Interested candidates should have extensive experience in cannabis agriculture production, packaging, operational management, finance and data analysis.

Job Responsibilities for the Cannabis Greenhouse Cultivation Facility CEO
- Manage 200,000 square feet of cannabis cultivation and production area using custom designed, high tech, light deprivation, greenhouses, managed with state of the art irrigation/fertilization and environmental control systems located in the Southwestern US.
- Develop key objectives through long term strategic planning and tactical action to achieve goals.
- Manage over 100 employees including highly talented growers and provide leadership and mentorship as needed.
- Hire, train, and retain additional key management members to support and assist grower with labor planning, scheduling, pest control management, along with the coordination of critical business functions, such as labor management, facility management, safety programs, and licensing compliance.
- Improve cannabis plant weights through better data tracking of alternative cultivation techniques and nutrient application.
- Track the effect of seasonal environmental fluctuations on specific cannabis strains, and how these changing conditions can be controlled and managed.
- Engage in the practice of informed and pro-active crop planning, in response to the supply and demand curve of each specific strain.
- Develop a genetic library capable of sustaining year-round crop rotations based on seasonal strains.
Requirements for the Cannabis Greenhouse CEO
- At least six years of large scale greenhouse senior management experience is required
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in management, horticultural management, or industrial management; postgraduate degree in business or management
- Bilingual English and Spanish speaking skills highly valued
High level of cannabis industry and market knowledge
- Ability to closely track budget expenses, understand effective product pricing, and maintain high-quality vendor relationships where needed.
- Demonstrate basic computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (PowerPoint and Access Database knowledge beneficial)
- Cultivation Managers are responsible for lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Obtain a state pesticide applicators license
- Cannabis industry knowledge and experience helpful
