DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *

  • Participate in the development of strategic marketing plans.
  • Create promotional materials (print and digital).
  • Design packaging, displays, labels, and logos for various products.
  • Research and apply new software or design concepts.
  • Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.
  • Confer with clients to discuss and determine design needs.
  • Collaborate with others to develop or refine designs.
  • Create promotional content for mass communications.
  • Update and maintain content posted on websites.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local certification centers.
  • Act as a point of contact for advertising representatives.
  • Prepare organizational publications, such as newsletters, for external audiences.
  • Take photographs of products, facilities, etc. as needed for promotional content.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS *

  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with programming (HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS).
  • Thinks outside of the box.
  • Ability to successfully handle high-stress situations.
  • Able to work nights and weekends, on occasion
  • Able to work in a team and independently.
  • Able to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Self-driven with strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate through various formats including phone and email.
  • Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day .
  • Must be capable working in front of a computer for extended periods of time.
  • At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
  • Proper employment documentation.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
  • If necessary, ability to work 7 days per week and to be flexible with schedule.
  • Environmental Requirements and Exposure, depending on work site location:
  • Exposure to fertilizer, , odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables.
EDUCATION *

  • Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant course of study is desirable.
