Flint Studios is looking for a full-time, experienced, innovative, and talented Graphic Designer to support creative efforts in the cannabis industry. Our graphic designer will work with other members of our marketing and creative departments to visually convey our client’s messages, ideas, and concepts. They’ll rely on their knowledge and proficiency with current graphic design programs to produce graphic art and visual materials including branding, packaging, corporate ID, promotions, advertisements, websites, and other mediums. We are looking for passionate, creative, charismatic, outgoing individuals to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment, with an expressed interest in the evolving cannabis industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in leading the creation of branding through customer-facing touch-points including; digital media, social media, email and promotional creative
- Meet with the Creative Director and internal teams to discuss branding/campaign/program objectives
- Command strong design abilities
- Create high-quality images that will contribute to a wide variety of marketing projects, which may include brochures, catalogs, presentations, corporate identity, packaging, and web/mobile sites
- Determine the design, layout, and formatting of materials
- Provide weekly reports to the Creative Director
- Mocking up concepts
- Comping objects into scenes to communicate a concept
- Execute day-to-day creative requests from the email and promotions team
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards within social media
- Must have a strong grasp of the creative process and carry design projects from concept to completion
Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 4 years of agency experience working in graphic design
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team and managers
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Ability to work with pre-created die lines, or create your own as needed
- Excellent layout and typography skills
- Detail oriented and professional
- Ability to take criticism & client feedback
- Flexible, curious, and a true problem solver, with capabilities of working on several projects and tasks at a time
