Job Summary

Kush Bottles is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our in-house Design Team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of packaging design, industrial design, and/or product design. They will be a creative, organized individual with a positive attitude, a stellar work ethic, and an eagerness to learn and grow with our fast-growing company.

Design Manager,

Director of Project Management

Provides Direction to:

No supervisory responsibilities

Examples of Essential Functions:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Review Client's art to assess its readiness for print
• Set up Client's art onto dielines for production
• Review manufacturer's proofs for issues and inconsistencies
• Create and send proofs to Clients for customized products
• Create realistic packaging mockups to illustrate a finished product
• Collaborate within a team to complete larger-scale projects
• Manage workflow to meet deadlines
• Create graphics for Client's company rebranding
• Create dielines for new products
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently with little direction

Qualifications Guidelines

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Mac proficient
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Adaptive design eye and skill
• Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism form colleagues and Clients.
• Strong work ethic
• Resourceful

Education/training/experience:

• 3+ years' experience
• Previous roles in agencies or brand teams are welcome
• Bachelor's Degree in Design, or related discipline

Knowledge of:

• Adobe Creative Cloud
• Design trends
• Product design
• Package design
• Dimensions and specifications
• Proofs

Physical Standards:

• This position requires frequently sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and operating a computer workstation
• Must have finger dexterity, ability to use keyboard/ten key
