Reports to: LLC Members
Function: Over see overall production, maintenance, systems, traceability of plant and gardens. Gm will organize, direct, control, or coordinate activities of worker engaged in the propagation, cultivating and harvesting of the marijuana/cannabis garden.
Schedule: Full time, with mandatory weekends and holiday rotation and occasional evening hours. Must be able to work all shifts and be able to flex schedule based on business demands.
Primary Responsibilities for General Manager Position:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Keeping records and handling budgets and accounts
- Proficient with computer to include Microsoft Office, specifically, Outloook, Word, Excel or comparable programs and the ability to learn and manage our traceability system.
- Be able to clearly communicate with other employees, managers, and AMCO
- Candidate must be able to work efficiently within a team environment
- Analyzing procurement cost
- Scheduling the planting and harvesting of crops
- Work may involve training new employees in garden techniques, inspecting facility for signs of disrepair and delegating repair duties to staff.
- Managing and helping in with al aspects of cultivation
- Managing the implementation of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Good housekeeping
- Preventative Management
- Knowledge in horticulture management
- Check all cultivation related systems including security, and traceability in working condition
- Must be able to work efficiently in stressful, high pressure situations
- Must possess a positive, “whatever it takes” attitude
- Learning, training and understanding of all AMCO regulations and statutes
General Manager Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in office management and record keeping
- Experience in managing multiple priorities simultaneously and meeting deadlines
- Must have problem negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Must be able work proficiently with deadlines and disciplined to work without constant guidance and supervision
- Must possess excellent communications skills, both verbally and written
- Ability to compute mathematical calculations, ability to decipher various reports and create reports upon request
- Ability to perform operations using units of weight measurements, volume and distance
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Must have current Alaska Marijuana Handlers card issued by AMCO
