Job Description
The Fulfillment Specialist role is to ensure that customers' orders are fulfilled in a timely and satisfactory manner, while being able to deliver an exceptional customer experience. They are responsible for ensuring Customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and accurately. They contribute to the daily operation of the Fulfillment Team, while providing necessary support when needed to the rest of the business. Due to the nature of the job, proficiency with software and business applications is necessary.
Duties and responsibilities
- Demonstrates excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and engaging environment.
- Provides accurate, timely information in oral, written, and electronic communication to both customers and staff.
- Knowledge of customer database software, spreadsheets, and word processing applications, such as Word & Excel.
- Ability to prioritize based on established deadlines.
- Shows appropriate patience and implements strong problem-solving skills, while taking the initiative to address concerns/issues with Team members.
- Resolves challenging, time-sensitive while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Stays educated on new and existing product knowledge.
- Communicates to Managers when;
- Ensure work area is clean and fee of debris
- Maintain inventory counts on a weekly basis
- Ability to work in both a team and individual base environment.
- Contribute to marketing communications.
- Demonstrates flexibility, by adapting to changes in both priorities and work environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Knowledge of basic cannabis laws.
- Familiarity with medical cannabis strains, products and effects.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to pass a background check conducted by the San Jose Police Department.
- Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic.
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment.
- Willing to cross-train in other areas as needed.
- Previous experience in customer fulfillment (preferred not required)
