We are seeking a temporary Food Production Associate to work in our facility located SODO. This is an hourly role that reports to the Production Supervisor.
- Prepare all production work surfaces via sanitization and good food practices: ensuring that items such as gloves and hairnets are available, fresh sanitization buckets are available, all utensils and equipment are pre-washed
- Pre-stage and measure all ingredients accurately with a keen eye to ingredient quality
- Apply strict yet intelligent adherence to product recipes and procedures to ensure that the final products meet quality standards
- Comply with all state requirements for working with recreational marijuana products
- Skillfully and safely complete all production tasks; using machinery efficiently and correctly; problem solve issues resourcefully
- Comprehend and follow all SOPs and state regulations, with an eye to improve and streamline processes for quality and efficiency
- Flexibility to complete a variety of tasks that may be required in a Production Facility (maintenance, food production, packaging, light administrative, order deliveries, etc.)
- Be a part of a robust team environment: assist with training, create a supportive team culture utilize strong communication skills. Enthusiastically tackles learning new things, challenges the status quo
Qualifications:
- Age 21 or older
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One year or more packaging production experience preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years foodservice/handling experience is required
- Excitement for working in a start-up environment with a high level of ambiguity and change
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
