Job Description:

One of Oregon’s leading cannabis extraction companies is looking for a Financial Analyst to join it’s growing team. This position is responsible for a broad range of accounting and finance activities which support the financial operations of the Company. This key role requires a thorough understanding of financial and accounting principles, forecasting methods, the ability to analyze current financial data and technology and to make recommendations which reduce costs and improve the financial health of the Company while increasing the utilization of technology. Primary Responsibilities

  • Create invoices for customers based on sales orders using CRM system
  • Process payments from customers as well as calculate and process refunds to customers
  • Automate and improve AR processes using technology and productivity improvements
  • Cash Management: assist with preparation of cash flow forecast for cash inflows from sales
  • Forecasting: Manage and improve the monthly forecast process with inputs from business partners and updates for actuals. Assist with revenue forecast using sales pipeline reports, trend analysis, and direction from Sales team. Prepare expense and headcount forecast using trend analysis and inputs from business partners.
  • Budgeting: Manage and improve the annual budget process with inputs from business partners and tied to strategic planning goals
  • Performance Management: Prepare variance analysis for forecast/budget/actuals for revenue and expense for the company. Review monthly with business partners for decision support for forecast improvements. Prepare and improve month end reporting package for financial and headcount data.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field
  • 2 years' experience in accounting, financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting, and/or budgeting
  • Advanced level proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work with pivot tables, data management and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Ability to “think outside the box” with strong attention to detail and motivation to create more efficient work streams
  • Ability to create dynamic reports and presentations for senior leadership
  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • OLCC workers permit (required)
