What you’ll be doing:
Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, the Field Marketing Manager will be working often in the field to understand the landscape of the market and dispensaries. By reporting and analyzing the data, you will create and execute marketing plans at the store level to drive sales. You’ll be a highly communicative team player, who is comfortable being in the field, as well as being in an office environment. You’re a natural relationship builder, storyteller, driven executor, customer experience creator, and data collector.

As the Field Marketing Manager you will:
Be the bridge between the sales/marketing team and the dispensary to create custom marketing plans to help Canndescent drive sales. Alongside the sales/ marketing team you will:

Develop brand awareness of Canndescent by developing and executing tailored marketing plans to build and drive brand awareness, customer interest, and sales at the store level

Partner with sales team to build relationships to understand marketing needs and develop strategic marketing plans with client accounts

Work closely with clients to create and provide: tailored account plans, retail maps, consumer journey maps, and uniform brand presentation

Manage company assets and update on company and client websites, weedmaps, and other related web presences

Identify market opportunities for consumer engagement on a face-to-face level.

Category management, managing SKUs for different product lines

Evaluate ROI and effectiveness of marketing efforts and make adjustments accordingly.

Develop metrics to gauge a market’s response to a campaign and analyze results

Retail merchandising and strategizing for optimal placement in dispensaries

Perform other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Marketing or related field

Demonstrated experience in category management, field marketing, and merchandising

Passion and curiosity for the Cannabis Industry

Experience in a field marketing/ sales role

Highly detail oriented and organized in work

Multi-tasking marketing guru that knows how to prioritize competing tasks

Deadline oriented

Excellent communicator across all levels of employees and people

Confident networker

Highly collaborative team player
