Description
We are looking for an Engineering Lab Technician to join our OLCC licensed cannabis manufacturing facility in Medford, Oregon. The Engineering Lab Technician works as part of a team in an CO2 extraction lab to organize, setup, execute, and document all activities in the Lab. Responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
- Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices
and standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshooting, cleaning & maintenance of CO2 extraction machine and all of its components.
- Calibrate or adjust equipment to ensure quality production, using tools such as calipers, micrometers,
height gauges, protractors, ring gauges, pressure gauges, temperature gauges / thermocouples /
thermometers.
- Order and recommend equipment / supplies needed to maintain a working Lab.
- Assist New Product Development in developing, building, and/or testing new products, processes, or
procedures.
- Review, plan and lay out work with managers to meet production and schedule requirements.
- Review, understand and adhere to production documents, such as standard operating procedures,
manufacturing batch records, inventory reports, or productivity reports.
- Adhere to all applicable OLCC regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and
environmental compliance.
- Engineering lab technician is responsible for the safe operation of all lab equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
OLCC WORKERS PERMIT REQUIRED
EDUCATION: High school graduate plus 2 years college or equivalent work experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to assemble and evaluate all products, lifting up to 70 lbs., walking, holding,
carrying, pushing, and pulling.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Capable of comprehending verbal instructions and written Lab procedures. Be able
to identify and analyze problems.
SALARY: Dependant on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $12.50 to $14.00 /hour
