Extraction Technician

Culta, a leading Maryland medical cannabis company seeks a qualified and motivated applicant to join their team as an Extraction Technician This position will require the employee to perform functions in support of the company’s goal to change community’s perceptions of plant-based wellness and to help people live a healthier life. The position will have the following responsibilities.

• Carry out all steps in the production of distillate from plant material
• Carry out rosin production from plant material
• Helping with packaging of products

Roles & Responsibilities

• Follow instructions and maintain a compliance with all Culta SOPs
• Maintain regulatory certifications with unique inventory tracking systems
• Be knowledgeable about cannabis and cannabis extraction methods
• Keep a clean, tidy and organized work area
• Possess good communication skills both oral and written
• Maintain a positive can-do attitude and demonstrate a willingness to learn
• Be a good team member that treats colleagues with respect

Job Qualifications

Entry level. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks. May not have a felony drug offense and must be at least 21 years of age.

Applicant must also have demonstrated a consistent work ethic in previous employment with a focus on paying attention to detail and following instructions.
