Extraction and Production Manager – Agronomed Pharmaceuticals LLC
We are a Hemp, Marijuana and Plant Based Therapeutics company seeking an innovative, hard working individual who is fully committed and passionate about the cannabis industry to fill our opening of Extraction Technician/Lab Manager. The position will initially be located in Exton PA, and move to our Pottstown PA processing facility at the end of September.
Job duties and skills include but not limited to:
- Functional oversight of the extraction, processing and manufacturing functions.
- Preparation of equipment and plant material for extraction, processing and manufacturing.
- Process concentrates and extracts, post processing where required, manuf. of topical lines.
- Proper operation of extraction equipment.
- Operating, maintaining and making adjustments and repairs to extraction equipment.
- Storing supplies and equipment, disposal of waste according to guidelines.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Perform ethanol-based extraction, solvent recovery and topical manufacturing
- Train and assist team members to get equipment optimized for research and commercial production
- Apply scientific techniques, procedures, or methodologies to complete tasks
- Develop and validate new analytical methods
- Maintaining safety data sheets for all chemicals and products.
- Follow all standards operating procedures regarding product creating and lab safety.
- Oversee and build team to perform extraction, processing and manufacturing functions as business scales
- Develop and maintain extraction/infusion operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational policies and procedures
- Work closely with production team on all elements of the extraction and infusion process
- Oversee procurement of equipment for lab build out
- Oversee and assist with the setup and production of the extraction lab
- Ability to work independently and in a continually changing environment
- Ability to manage a small team in a laboratory setting
- Excellent experimental design, data collection, results interpretation, and problem-solving skills
- Effective at time management
- Detail oriented, highly organized, and motivated by accomplishment
- Ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with all levels of management within a team environment on a variety of programs and projects
- Advanced computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must not have been convicted of any felony offenses pursuant to federal or state statutes.
- 2-year minimum experience working with extraction and product manufacturing equipment preferred.
- An Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
