The Role
We are seeking an Events Manager to join our growing Marketing team. The Marketing Events Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and execution of Baker events that drive brand awareness and generate a sales pipeline. This includes key industry conferences, customer events, partner events, and more. The position will report to the VP of Marketing, located in Denver, CO.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate events such as conferences, regional events, partner events, and customer appreciation events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives
- Manage event calendar and identify future opportunities
- Manage event budgets and ensure adherence
- Manage sourcing, negotiation, communications, and relationships with our outside vendors as well as our internal departments throughout event process.
- Create KPIs to enhance the event’s success and monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of events
- Work with regional sales representatives and customer success managers on regional events
- Work with other marketing team members to deliver all event-related marketing including: booth design, content development, offers and promotions, email campaigns and landing pages, and sales outreach and engagement
- Develop integrated event plans from project plan and kickoff, to on-site event management and post-event follow-up
- Train and educate staff on proper event procedures
- Evaluate event performance, including lead and ROI tracking and deliver ongoing reports
- Research and apply for leadership speaking engagements at key industry events
- Manage SWAG and collateral assets for events

Role Requirements
- BS/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of event management experience
- Skilled in project management; excellent organizational skills
- The ability to work in a rapidly expanding, fast-paced environment
