Overview:
We are looking for an Events Coordinator to support the Events team in their daily operations and event executions in the ever changing cannabis industry.
The ideal person will demonstrate an approachable and flexible attitude with the ability to remain high-energy and positive in a constantly evolving and collaborative environment.
You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a master at organization, loves tackling projects, and wants to grow with our team. The ultimate goal is to translate marketing and branding strategies to effectively position the company brand in both existing and emerging markets as the industry grows and evolves.
Responsibilities:
- Research and present all new external event opportunities to Events Director and events team
- Work on lead generation with various departments in the company
- Build and maintain working relationships with vendors, venues, and 3rd party stakeholders
- Manage administrative tasks for the events team
- Assist in the planning and execution for all events
Qualifications:
- 2+ Years’ event management experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven track record of supporting successful events
- Organized individual able to maintain and lead workflow processes
- Ability to maintain poise and self-control under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of the Cannabis industry
- Self-motivated, proactive, requiring minimal supervision for successful event execution
- Excellent communication skills, engaging personality, and a rapid problem solver.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication
- Ability to travel and work remotely at times
- Ability to lift 50lbs
