Summary/Objective
This position is under the direct supervision of the executive staff and is responsible for managing evening vaulting services and currency processing operations.
Essential Functions

Responsible for managing evening vaulting services unit operations. This includes deposit verification, change order preparation, currency/coin inventory management, and balance and audit functions.
Performs normal supervisory responsibilities for personnel actions and monitors staff performance.
Ensures accountability and security of all funds transiting the department
Adheres to compliance, industry standards, audit requirements, and company policies.
Ensures quality customer service, schedule staffing to meet productivity goals, and approves special request processing.
Other duties as assigned to ensure efficient and compliant vaulting services unit operation.
May occasionally perform any task assigned to administrative staff, consistent with any licensing or certification requirements.

Responsibilities
The position performs all essential administration needs, as requested by management including and not limited to the essential functions listed above.
Implement, monitor, and revise policies and procedures to ensure accountability and security of all currency and coin transiting the branch.
Provide services to large banks, correspondent and niche banks, large corporate and small commercial entities, and coin and ATM customers.
Exercise usual supervisory authority regarding staffing, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, salary increases, terminations, and staff development for a growing department.
Establish and review operating systems and procedures within the branch and dependent procedures outside the department.
Update as needed to ensure process effectiveness and control, accountability, and security of all cash movement and inventory information.

Work Environment
This position operates in a secure, professional currency vaulting environment. Currency and coin counting machinery is in use. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, touch tablet data entry devices and printers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position. Days of work are primarily Monday through Friday. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and vary according to the supervision needs of vaulting services unit staff. Periodic weekend or evening work may be requested.
Travel
Requires employee to drive to office location. No additional daily travel is required. Periodic out of state travel may be required depending on the needs of the company.
